Yes, completely. We review the first 30–50 pages of your manuscript and provide a written assessment with no charge and no obligation to proceed with any of our services. We believe authors deserve honest, expert feedback at the start of their publishing journey.
What does the manuscript review cover?
Our reviewers assess narrative structure and pacing, prose quality, marketability within your target genre, likely audience, publishing readiness, and any areas that might benefit from editorial attention before publication. You receive a written report typically 300–500 words in length.
How long does the review take?
Most manuscript reviews are completed within 3–5 business days of receiving your submission. During peak periods this may extend to 7 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation when your review is assigned and again when it's complete.
Do I need a complete manuscript for the review?
No. We can review completed manuscripts as well as works-in-progress. If your manuscript is incomplete, send us what you have along with a brief synopsis of the full planned work and we'll review accordingly.
Will my manuscript be kept confidential?
Yes. All manuscripts submitted for review are handled with full confidentiality. We do not share, publish, or reference your work without your explicit permission.
What happens after the review?
