Six Steps From Script to Streaming
Manuscript Prep

We present narrator auditions matched to your genre and tone. You approve the voice before recording begins.
Studio Recording
Recording takes place in a professional studio environment. First-pass files are shared with you for review at agreed milestones.
Editing & QC
Our audio engineers edit the recordings, remove errors and noise, balance levels, and check against the manuscript for accuracy.
Mastering
Final mastering ensures the audio meets platform loudness standards and produces clear, consistent listening quality across all devices.
Distribution
Completed files are submitted to Audible/ACX, Apple Books, Spotify, Findaway Voices, and additional platforms per your package.

Subscription audioFrequently Asked Questions
Who narrates the audiobook — me or a professional narrator?
Both options are available. Many authors prefer a professional narrator for non-fiction and fiction titles to ensure consistent studio quality. Some authors — particularly memoirists and thought leaders — prefer to narrate their own work for authenticity. We can also arrange a shared royalty arrangement with narrators through ACX if budget is a consideration.
What audio quality standards do distribution platforms require?
Audible and ACX require a minimum bitrate of 192 kbps, sample rate of 44.1 kHz, and a room noise floor of -60 dB or below. Our studio recordings meet or exceed all platform specifications. We handle mastering, quality control, and compliance checking before submission.
How long does audiobook production take?
Finished audio runs at roughly 9,000–10,000 words per finished hour. A 70,000-word book yields approximately 7–8 hours of audio. Production — including recording, editing, and mastering — typically takes 6–10 weeks from the start of narration.
Which platforms will my audiobook be available on?
We distribute to Audible (the world's largest audiobook platform), Apple Books Audio, Spotify, Google Play Audiobooks, Libro.fm, OverDrive (libraries), and Findaway Voices' partner network, which includes dozens of additional platforms.
Do I keep the audiobook rights?
Yes. You retain 100% of your audiobook rights. We never take a stake in your IP. If you choose a royalty-share narration arrangement through ACX, that is a separate agreement between you and the narrator.
Can I produce an audiobook if my print book is already published?
Absolutely. Many authors add an audiobook edition months or years after their print and ebook release. The audiobook market continues to grow rapidly and adding the format can meaningfully expand your total readership.
